Hello everyone. I am very glad about the starting of this site and hope that it will be full of interesting posts and people that can help each other and have a good tine. For this first post i would like to present a curiosity in butterflies that I hope you will find interesting.
Thank you Ioan Sergiu! Interesting how these little creatures make that sounds. I observed small noises in adult Pieris species during my field work as well- Wonderful animals!
Hello! I’m coming to Romania this summer in the month of July and I was wondering if there are any good field guides for butterflies in Romania? I think a general European field guide is not specific enough since it does not cover midlands and highlands. Preferably it would be in English? On the web I found the one by Szekely Levente but it seems hard to get it.
